Find Your Nearest ATM with a QR Code
QR codes are a bit of a bugbear of mine. When they’re printed too small to scan, displayed too high or in areas without WiFi, linking to websites/pages that aren’t mobile optimised…the list goes on.
That said I spotted this in my local shop today. The ATM was out of service but a QR code allowed you to visit a branch and ATM locator.
Handy – particular if you’re in an area you’re not familiar with.
Of course the QR code brought you to a site that wasn’t a mobile optimised but sure you can’t have everything (not at the moment anyway!).
