Sylvester Stallone Blows up YouTube

Sylvester Stallone has taken to YouTube to promote his new movie, The Expendables. I won’t be queing up to see the film, but this is worth a watch as it’s a great example of a YouTube takeover – Stallone literally destroys the site.

The page looks exactly like the normal YouTube page except with a slightly blurry font and without the standard YouTube functionality – i.e. you can’t pause the clip, comment, etc. The best thing about this in my opinion is how the guys in the suggested videos panel interact with the main video. Stallone ordering you to ‘share’ the video at the end was also a nice touch.
